A key focus will be on cultivating native products unique to Galicia, enabling the project to obtain the prestigious Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) certificate and the “Made in Galicia“ certification.
Where our beehives will produce honey, royal jelly, beeswax, pollen and other subproducts.
TERRA MOURA INN Retreat & Farm is a reflection of Galicia’s rich agrarian roots and deep cultural heritage.
The Inn’s culinary focus is on a seasonally evolving menu that highlights traditional Galician preservation techniques such as smoking, pickling, and drying.
Galician cuisine is more than just food—it’s a tale of tradition, passion, and the deep connection between the land and the sea. Nestled in the lush, green landscapes of northwest Spain, Galicia’s culinary heritage is a celebration of simplicity and authenticity.
Seafood takes center stage, with delicacies like empanada galega (savory fish or meat pies) and vieiras (scallops, often served during the Camino de Santiago pilgrimages). And let’s not forget the creamy tetilla cheese or the crisp, refreshing Albariño wine, perfect for toasting to life’s simple pleasures.
